Setup and Software		No special software is needed; but 550Access does supply a small dialer program for both PCs and Macintosh computers. You can also manually configure Dial Up Networking. 550Access also provides a free smart and easy browser, a toolbar with popup blocker, and deskbar that resides in your Windows task bar and allows you to search the web from any application. A CD is available for $5.50.

Protecting Your Privacy		The 550Access system automatically gathers information about the areas that members visit on the service. We use this information to understand how our members, as a group, use the service so that we can make the service better. We may also share this statistical information with our partners or other outside companies, but in doing so, we do not disclose individual names or personal navigational information.
Advertising		550Access does not sell advertising which would create pop up ads or banner ads while you are online. Our accelerator software includes a popup blocker that will eliminate ads generated by individual web sites that you choose to visit. Additionally, 550Access does not put advertising at the bottom of your outgoing e-mails.
Supported Operating Systems		Our dialup services are compatible with Linux and Macs. However the 550Access Software (Browser, Dialer and Automatic Configuration) are compatible only with Windows. Additionally our High Speed Software is compatible with Mac and Windows.
